Already keep your records in another program? You don\'t have to start from scratch. Here\'s how to move them across — explained in plain English.

How to export
Open your case list, choose Export or Print, and save the file as CSV or Excel. Most versions let you pick which columns to include.
Include the deceased name, location, Garda details, and mortuary — we will match the rest automatically.
Obit.cloud
A cloud-based office system for managing removals and case records.
How to export
Go to your cases, select the ones you want, and use the Export to CSV or Excel option. Save the file to your computer or phone.
You can export one case or many at once — every row becomes a case in MortLogix.

How to export
Save or download your sheet as a .csv or .xlsx file. There is no special format — we read the column headings and figure out what each one means.
Don't worry about exact column names. We recognise common headings like "Name", "Address", "Hospital", "Garda", and more.
What happens when you upload
From the moment you pick a file to the finished cases — here is every step.
You upload the file
You tap to upload your CSV or Excel file. It is sent securely to MortLogix — nothing is shared outside your account.
Works on your phone or computer. The file never leaves your company's workspace.
We read the columns
MortLogix looks at the headings at the top of your file and works out which column is the name, which is the address, which is the Garda, and so on.
We match similar wording automatically — "Deceased", "Patient", "Name" all map to the same field. No manual setup needed.
You see a preview
Before anything is saved, you get a clear list of every case we found. You can check the details and fix any name that looks wrong — just tap to edit.
You stay in control. Nothing is added to your records until you press Import.
You pick what happens next
You choose one of two options: bring these in as new cases ready for the field team, or bring them in as already-completed cases (for your records only).
New cases go straight into the dispatch queue. Completed cases skip the queue and get a finished report made for each one.
The cases are created
When you press Import, MortLogix creates a proper case for every row — with all the details filled in, just as if you had typed them by hand.
Each case is tagged so you know it came from an import, and who imported it.
Reports are made (if you chose completed)
For completed imports, MortLogix builds a full GDPR dossier for each case and emails it to everyone who needs it — the Garda, the mortuary, the office.
Exactly the same report you get when a case is finished the normal way. No extra work.
Two ways to import
You decide what happens to the cases once they are in.
New cases
When to use it: Use this when you are bringing in cases that still need the field team to go out.
What happens: Each row becomes a live case in your dispatch queue, ready to assign to a driver — exactly like a case typed in by hand.
Completed (report only)
When to use it: Use this for old or finished cases you just want on record in MortLogix.
What happens: Each row is marked done right away, and a full written dossier is generated and emailed out for every one — no field work needed.
Common questions
Do I need to format my file in a special way?
No. As long as your file has column headings in the first row, we work out what each column means. If a column can't be matched, we simply leave it blank — you can fill it in later.
What if a row is missing a name?
A name is the one thing we need. Rows without a name are skipped, and we show you how many were valid before you import.
Will it create duplicate cases?
Each import creates fresh cases. If you import the same file twice, you will get two sets — so only import each batch once.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your file is uploaded over a secure connection and stays inside your company's MortLogix workspace. It is never shared with anyone outside your account.
Can I import from more than one system?
Absolutely. You can import from Eurologica today, Obit.cloud tomorrow, and a spreadsheet next week — all into the same MortLogix account.
